African Governments Do Not Ensure Right to Education

In Western Kenya, Poverty forced a teen to have a sex with her instructor so he can paid her school fees, which result to pregnancy. Unfortunately,“ In many African countries, pregnant girls and adolescent mothers are forced out of school and denied their right to education,” said Elin Martínez, children’s rights researcher at Human Rights Watch.

Tens of thousands of pregnant girls and adolescent mothers are banned or discouraged from attending school across Africa, Human Rights Watch confirmed in a report released on June  2018 .
